HR Lunch Club
Join 8–10 senior HR, People, and Total Rewards
leaders for an intimate lunch in Midtown Manhattan.
For four years, More Than Just A Lunch has brought people together who might otherwise never have met. Across 400+
curated lunches and 1000+ attendees, we’ve developed an approach that helps strangers get to know one another and learn
from each other’s experience. Now, we’re bringing that approach to senior HR leaders, with the decisions you face at the heart of the discussion.
Actually get to know peer leaders who take an interest in your challenges and your success. Build the familiarity and trust that gives you someone to turn to beyond the lunch.
Bring a challenge you’re working through and draw on the experience around you. Explore selected questions together, with room for practical suggestions, useful resources, and introductions.
Get a clearer view of what’s happening across the People and benefits landscape beyond your own organization. Understand the pressures other leaders are facing, the priorities they’re rethinking, and how they’re navigating an increasingly unpredictable market.
Join your peers in a private dining room, with Adam Connors guiding the conversation and making time for everyone to contribute.
Every guest, including participating sponsors, agrees to join as an equal peer. No sales pitches, vendor booths, or sponsor presentations. The conversation belongs to the people at the table.
Share your perspective under the Chatham House Rule. You can use what you learn, while keeping participants’ identities, organizations, and contributions unattributed outside the room.
Guided questions about your interests and experiences help you discover common ground. You’ll get to know the people behind the roles before turning to the challenges you share.
After lunch, we’ll share a personal summary of the positive leadership attributes and strengths your peers noticed in you. A thoughtful reminder of what others appreciate in the way you listen, contribute, and connect.
Our founder Adam Connors launched Who’s Who in HR in 2020, a podcast inviting HR leaders to share the experiences, decisions, and lessons that shaped their careers. The podcast deepened relationships across the profession and gave him an idea: create a space where people could learn from one another in person.
For four years, More Than Just A Lunch has brought people from different industries and generations together over curated lunches. Adam guides the introductions, helping guests find common ground, understand each other’s challenges, and discover where their experience could help.
We created HR Lunch Club to give senior HR, People, and Total Rewards leaders a place to build trusted peer relationships while working through the challenges they face. It brings the personal approach of these lunches into a professional peer network, where you can ask for perspective, share what’s worked for you, and build relationships with people you can turn to for help.

“I’d enjoy having you at the table.”
I’ve spent years in executive search, interviewing HR leaders for my podcast, Who’s Who in HR, and hosting small-group gatherings through More Than Just A Lunch.
HR Lunch Club brings those parts of my work together. I want to introduce people who will be interested in one another, thoughtful about the questions being discussed, and willing to share what they’ve learned.
My hope is that you leave with a fresh perspective and a few people you’d enjoy speaking with again.
